We are Swedish Wild

We, Johan Löfström and Patrik Björklund, started Swedish Wild because we both loved wild game meat and we saw it as our mission to make this great meat available to everyone. 

We had often experienced how difficult it could be to easily buy really good wild game meat. Even in Sweden, where traditional moose hunting has been around for generations, you could not buy fresh meat (never frozen) or even the best cuts (e.g. fillet and sirloin) since they were almost always either kept by the hunters themselves or sold off immediately to high-end restaurants. And there were no options to just buy the cuts you wanted online and have them delivered to you within a day or two.

So we decided to change that.

Johan, a digital entrepreneur, met Patrik, a devoted hunter since childhood, through a mutual friend, and we decided to start an online service that would deliver the best fresh and frozen wild game meat as "directly from the Swedish forests to anyone in Europe" as we could.

To do that, we buy the animals directly from local hunters and reindeer herders. We work together with a few select highly skilled, experienced and licensed Swedish wild game butchers who prepare and package the meat in a highly regulated manner. We ship the meat directly from their facilities to you. No unnecessary middle men, transports or storage facilities. We don't care if you live in Northern Sweden or Southern Italy - we serve all of the European Union.

We believe that this meat is too great not to be accessible online with overnight home delivery. To enable that is our mission.
